The location of the cottage was amazing, with fine views of the nearby Abbey and the sea. We even had the pleasure of seeing bats in the garden! It was just a short walk to the Abbey and the Whitby Brewery, and we had immediate access to the Cleveland Way. The house itself was clean and cozy, with the owners leaving fresh flowers and milk for us upon arrival. The large patio doors had been replaced, great to open them and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, and we appreciated the added amenities like wifi and a smart TV. Having a parking spot right opposite the door was also convenient.

The location of the cottage is truly phenomenal, with stunning views of the beach and easy access to both the town and the Abbey. the house itself is clean and welcoming, with little touches like flowers and milk provided on arrival. the new patio doors allow for fresh air and a beautiful connection to the garden. the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. Having a parking spot is a great convenience.
The latch on the front gate and garden gate could use some improvement, as using string to secure them doesn't close the garden gate tight enough for dogs.

Great location close to attractions and town, clean house with thoughtful touches like flowers and milk, comfortable beds, fully-equipped kitchen.
Gates need better latches for dog security, could benefit from extra heating during colder nights.
